Linda has been a licensed therapist since 1983.  More recently she has been working with older clients who have pain issues, especially those with Multiple Sclerosis, heart attack patients, arthritis sufferers and other chronic conditions.  She also spends time with care givers and their difficulties.  Back in the 1990’s she was the Director of Genesis III Counseling Center in Fort Myers, Florida, a faith-based outpatient clinic.  She had been a school counselor for over 30 years. She is now retired from the Lee County public school system.  Her background is in both Psychology and Social Work.  Over time, Linda has developed skills in treating families with parenting concerns and child development struggles.  She has worked extensively with divorce recovery and grieving programs.  Solution-focused, brief therapy has allowed Linda to see many hurting individuals and families over short periods of time with successful results.  She will individualize plans to assist in the emotional treatment of  pain, steps to reduce anger, recognize and deal with depression and anxiety and many other diagnosed mental health struggles.

Linda sees the urgency to specifically address the need  for every one of God’s children to have a personal relationship with Jesus.  She works with those who have questions about their faith. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and is a part of the Focus on the Family ministry and the Christian Counselors Directory.

She enjoys teaching engaged couples and doing their premarital classes as prescribed by the clerk of courts.
